Divine Yearning

The gelid tears which stand frozen at the Universe's edges.Miranda x Kronika.

About the F/O

Kronika is a Titaness whose age matches the Universe (she could be even older but time seems to not exist before her). Her role in the Cosmos is one of the Keeper of Time and Architect of the Destiny of the Universe. She is, unlike the popular opinions state, an entity holding the True Neutral alignment. One that sees good and evil as cosmic forces which shall coexist equally, thus maintaining a continuous balance in the universe and all the timelines she manages to reach control over.

Her existence is unable to be comprehended fully, for there is and there have been different legends under which her physical form has taken place, along her powers. Neither it is sure whether position she is from the One Being. Those seem to be sacred secrets hidden beneath the stars. She operates in The Keep, a location which must be understood as a place outside Time itself, and within a location named The Void, somewhere surrounding Shang Tsung's Island. Few souls might risk their lives in order to go that far. And those few who survive, won't last much in there without waking undesired attention. She is over the control of the Hourglass, which contains the Sands of Time. Such Sands represents each structure within the Universe. From one cell beings, to macrocosmic structures.

May she has composed the Sands of Time does not mean she will condone nor control the will power of each grain and soul within. She can know everything about an individual if possible, though not about everyone at once, permitting leaks in plans she tends to consider brilliant, which has many times led to unexpected scenarios and turns of events. Those who are aware of her identity and role within and outside the Cosmos tend to blame all the world's (or personal) disgraces on her due to her supposed omnipotency, which aims mostly towards a partiality, when the reality is way much simple. As a neutral being who sees good and evil as forces regardless of what benefits or disgraces bring to different creatures, certain concepts such like "justice" (subjective and very dependent of species & realms), escape her and therefore, her will power.

If there is no need to attack nor act through aggressiveness towards a being, she will show a calm, collected attitude. Kronika is neutral, with a soft speech and a balance of good and evil within herself. She is centered, with a composed personality, curious towards matters which usually don't interfere in her daily tasks. She is innocent (naïve) towards some cultural hints, slangs, rituals and other fields within the species residing in the realms of her creation. Since her observation towards them all is partial and fixed in relevant matters (such like what could place Realms in real danger or give each of them a significant change), most still-life elements might result unfamiliar to her.The key to appoach her might rest under the premise of an open mind, a calm thought and lack of selfish interests.

About the Insert

Miranda. She/Her.
She is Miranda, born at November 11, 1992.

An artist at heart who has come to Outworld with her older sister Amanda (born at 1989). They both are artists. Amanda is a digital artist while Miranda works better with traditional.Miranda started painting landscapes from other Realms, both for a living and as a hobby. Due to a suggestion from her sister, she ended up painting Kombatiants and other beings in quiet landscapes, either posing or interacting with them. Upon composing those artworks, she helps them to organize their thoughts and keep their mind calm, especially after exhausting training sessions or Kombats.
She has a strange ability to visualize things in dreams and has at some point met Dreamrealm more than she knows.

Miranda has a high tendency for self-depreciation despite having an artistic level matching well known artists across Earthrealm's History, byproduct of toxic romantic relationships. She has had as well, an unfortunate encounter with the corrupted Thunder God Raiden, in which she ended up injuried due that he found her picturing Tyrants thus considering she was a menace for Earth given that she could well be aware of these Tyrants' actions and still accepting to picture them. He attacked her and only left thinking she was no longer alive. Cetrion found her, and after Miranda has explained the real purpose of her artworks, she suggested the mortal to picture her mother, Kronika, if the Titaness even gave her the fortune to do so.

About the Ship

The term "Slow burn" is too fast for them. Both Miranda and Kronika have interesting aspects. The mortal has rarely experienced romance, and does truly not find herself fit on the matter. The Titan has witnessed a lot but when it's about to put some practice... Imagine knowing the concept of a hug but never tried one yourself. Ugh... difficult.

They enjoy each other's companion quietly. Miranda does not represent a menace for Kronika. Like, she's a simple artist who has not the ambition to take the Hourglass. The lady is just there drawing, painting, trying to cope with depression. Miranda doesn't even question Kronika how "she permitted her to gather such mental disorders", like others would do, or have done at some point within the vast timelines she has witnessed to emerge then decay. The Titaness knows that there's a genuine behavior in Miranda's moves, thus she just allows her to wander around. They rarely talk, but when they do, they speak about philosophy, art, and even the differences between the culture of a mortal and a deity.

They have known each other by circumstance--- it was not a big deal nor an epic introduction. Kronika has not foreseen this "meaningless grain of sand" coming to her. The reality is that after Amanda has gone missing, Miranda searched for her, and Raiden has found her painting many figures from Outworld, including tyrants. He's gone wild, attacked her (as stated above), and Cetrion found her not much after. When Miranda explained her goals and the intentions in which she executed her jobs to Cetrion, she suggested Miranda to attempt painting Kronika, not before suggesting, as well, an interaction of course. Such a peculiar fate for them both.Due to the harmony which has emerged from this bond, Kronika has been finding herself interested in sharing small mundane gestures with the mortal, knowing at some point she was going to die, to "try something before she goes". Sometimes she stops time briefly to give Miranda small visits or invites her to come to The Keep when things are peaceful in there. They are... Friends? Maybe more? (Definitely more. We don't talk about this yet).
We are still exploring the nature of this very... bond. Yeah, it's a bond, let's leave it there. (Even if they know what they feel).

About Dynamics

Their dynamics involve;
Slow burn: NO!!! We said "Slow burn" is way too fast for them!! (Lie, this is the most accurate term to what they have).
Wholesomeness: Yes, they might not talk about this very often. Miranda and Kronika are... somehow, deeply attached to each other. Words flow like gentle breezes through each other's faces, some looks frame each other very tenderly, and they hold hands too. Kronika finds the use of 'sweet nothings' truly mesmerizing when they cause Miranda's face to flush so darkly. At the begin it started as a small experiment, but she has found a certain pleasure upon making this mortal happy.Possessiveness: (A bit, Kronika's side) there is a certain sense of restlessness when Miranda is found painting other beings and smiling to them oh so kindly. Especially when she has to be responsible with the Hourglass. She has a certain preference for leaving biting marks on Miranda when jealousness touches her heart. (This is not jealousness. It's simply printing a mark from someone who is going to be gone forever, a trace on a skin which might forget her from timeline to timeline).Angst: Miranda knows not Kronika is going to go definitely at the begin. Yet at some time they know (I have an AU for this, don't worry). (I lied, I have 3AUs, perhaps 4 involving the franchise Fate/Grand Order, and yes, as Master and Servant. You don't serve because you're a Titaness?? Ugh... ma'am, this is going to itch a bit).Friends to lovers: One day I'll even host another Yume Wedding (hopefully not a collab anymore).Teasing: Hell yea

My selectiveness with her

I am selective with Kronika and this is why. My portrayal of her involves a complex background. I see her as a deity which, albeit has witnessed a lot of human/other beings' culture and behaviors, practising some of them might be a tad bit difficult --- 'unfamiliar', for her. She's true neutrality personified, thus there is not full good nor full evil on her. She's a balance of both and many scenes within the game are, to me, a testament of that. There is not entire deception nor entire sincerity on her. This is what, in very, basic words, my "portrayal" of her will rest on. With my selectivity, I want to clarify that I will not engage with those who see Kronika as an evil person, a manipulator with no feelings, an object of joke or even something to sexualize. I will block those self shippers whose portrayals of her rest on that premise. Likewise, I will appreciate if you hide NSFW content of her from my sight, for I am not interested in that aspect of hers.

I am aware of the hatred the fandom has for her and I understand their reasons. Even so, I would rather not see such opinions in my content. Keep that hatred apart from my content and posts. Otherwise you will be blocked and the comment will be deleted.I'd rather not be mutuals with those people who are friends with non-sharing Kronika yumeshippers, or those who are considering to be non.If you are sharing but you're starting to be non, that's okay, just let me know, let's block each other and we'll be fine. Zero problems when it comes to your comfort.
